Global Traineeship GBDS - Hungary

As a GDBS trainee, you will work in an international environment, collaborating with colleagues across the globe. During this three-year traineeship program, you will contribute to transformative projects such as driving commercial effectiveness, implementing cutting-edge business applications, and supporting decision-making through business intelligence and predictive analytics solutions.

Please note that in order to participate in our Traineeship Program, you need to have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree before the start date (1st of March, 2027). Ongoing university studies are not required during the Traineship, which serves as our Graduate Program.

Vacancy description

As a GDBS Trainee in our global PTP team, you will contribute to FrieslandCampina's global business services organization, gaining hands-on experience across procurement and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes. Through rotations within GDBS, you will develop a broad understanding of how sourcing, purchasing, process excellence, and service operations support business performance across a global organization.

During the traineeship, you will work on improving operational processes, supporting stakeholders across different markets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and PtP landscape. You will gain exposure to digital procurement tools, process governance, supplier interactions, and cross-functional collaboration while building a strong foundation for an international career.

Tactical Buying Specialist

Support the execution of competitive sourcing events for tail spend categories, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers across different markets. You will help manage the end-to-end sourcing process, from validating purchase requests and identifying potential suppliers to coordinating RFQs, evaluating bids, and supporting award decisions. Along the way, you will gain hands-on experience with procurement systems and digital sourcing tools, learn how to balance cost, quality, and compliance considerations, and develop strong stakeholder management and analytical skills in a fast-paced global environment.

PtP Process Specialist:

Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of Procure-to-Pay processes across FrieslandCampina's global organization. You will work with operational and process experts to analyze performance, identify improvement opportunities, support process documentation and governance activities, and help drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will gain insight into how global business services operate and how process excellence supports business performance at scale.

Hard requirements

• 0-2 years of work experience (PTP/Procurement operations or purchasing experience in an international environment is an advantage)
• Strong academic background from a relevant university
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Supply Chain/Procurement/Business/Finance related field (completed degree before the 1st of March, 2027)
• Interest in/exposure to competitive bidding (RFQ/RFP) and supplier & requester interactions
• Experience with Coupa and/or Autonomous Sourcing tool or any other sourcing tool is an advantage
• Fluency in English
