Marketing Trainee - Global General Medicine

We are looking for a motivated and analytically strong Marketing Trainee to join the Global General Medicines team. The role is designed for a final-year university student or recent graduate who would like to build hands-on experience in pharmaceutical marketing, portfolio management and product launches within an international environment.

The trainee will work closely with the Global General Medicines marketing team and support both marketing activities and the day-to-day management of our portfolio across multiple markets.

Feladatok

• Marketing & portfolio analysis: Support analysis of sales, market and brand performance. Prepare regular reports, trackers and management summaries. Consolidate information from countries and identify key trends, gaps or variances. Support competitor and market monitoring.
• Data analysis & reporting: Work with Excel datasets, including PivotTables, look-ups, filtering and basic data analysis. Maintain dashboards and performance trackers. Prepare clear PowerPoint presentations and management updates based on the analysis.
• Launch & portfolio support: Support new product launch preparation and launch-readiness tracking. Maintain launch timelines, action trackers and country status updates. Follow up actions with relevant internal stakeholders and affiliates. Support preparation of portfolio and launch review meetings.
• SKU and product administration: Support the creation and maintenance of new SKUs/product codes and related product information. Coordinate necessary inputs with relevant functions and ensure information and trackers are complete and up to date. Support portfolio database and product-list maintenance.
• Marketing budget monitoring: Maintain marketing budget trackers and monitor actual spending versus plan. Support reconciliation of marketing expenses, purchase orders and invoices where needed. Identify and flag significant variances to the responsible marketing manager. The role supports budget monitoring and reporting; it does not own the budget or budgeting process.
• Marketing execution & project coordination: Support Global Brand Managers with marketing projects, campaigns, meetings and materials. Coordinate inputs, timelines and deliverables across functions and countries. Support preparation of internal marketing meetings, workshops and portfolio reviews. Assist with ad-hoc commercial and marketing projects.

Elvárt végzettség, szakképzettség

Final-year Bachelor's or Master's student, or recent graduate, preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related field.

Strong interest in marketing, pharmaceuticals and international business.

Strong Excel skills, including practical knowledge of PivotTables and data analysis.

Good PowerPoint skills and ability to turn data into simple, clear presentations.

Previous internship or student experience in marketing, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, analytics or finance.

Experience with Power BI or other reporting/dashboard tools.

Basic understanding of pharmaceutical marketing or product lifecycle management.
