Technical Support Engineer

Tasks

• Provide technical support and guidance to the authorised repairer network in vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair procedures.
• Support dealers in resolving complex technical cases and coordinate technical escalations with the OEM Technical Support team.
• Support the warranty claim process, including claim preparation, validation and follow-up with the authorised repairer network.
• Deliver and organise technical and system-related training to the authorised repairer network.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of campaigns, service actions and recalls, ensuring timely execution across the network.
• Conduct network audits covering Aftersales processes, warranty claim procedures, technical standards and reimbursement processes.
• Maintain regular communication with the OEM regarding technical cases, product issues, campaigns, recalls, training and other Aftersales-related topics.
• Support the development and implementation of Aftersales processes, standards and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Technical education, preferably in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in (automotive) technical support, diagnostics, workshop operations, aftersales etc.
• EV and ICE vehicle technologies knowledge.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, high-voltage systems and modern vehicle architecture.
• Fluent English, Hungarian language knowledge
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation, diagnostic information and repair procedures.
• MS Office skills and the ability to work with automotive systems and digital platforms.
• Valid driving licence – Willingness to travel within the CEE region as required.
• Strong focus on resolving technical issues.
• Structured, organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
• A strong communicator who can effectively cooperate with technicians, dealer management, internal teams and OEM representatives.
• Confident in delivering technical training and presentations.
• Flexible and willing to continuously develop their technical knowledge, particularly in the rapidly evolving AI and EV industry.
