This is a job posting for Network Management Engineering within Solution Area Network Management, where we develop and maintain competitive offerings that support our Networks. Network Management Engineering is responsible for products for Network Management, Resource Orchestration and Automation domains. About this opportunity

We are looking for a Junior C++ Software Developer to join the team developing the CSM (Common Stream Mediation / Ericsson Stream Mediation) microservices within the Ericsson Stream Processing and Enrichment (ESPE) project inside ENM (Ericsson Network Manager). CSM is a key component responsible for processing and mediating large-scale 4G and 5G RAN Performance Management data streams.

What you will do (as part of agile team)

• Develop and maintain CSM microservices using C++
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance activities
• Learn and apply modern software engineering principles and development practices
• Create and maintain automated tests for developed features
• Investigate and fix software defects with the support of experienced team members
• Contribute to code reviews and team discussions
• Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and product stakeholders
• Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities

The skills you bring

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, or you are close to completing your studies
• Experience in C++ programming
• Familiarity with Linux environments
• Interest in software development and willingness to learn new technologies
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop

• Telecommunications, networking, or distributed systems
