PLC & Robot Programmer

Duties and responsibilities:

• In addition to the above mentioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined
• Draw up electronic documentation and updates them
• Obtain offers
• Visualize production facilities
• Create programs for devices and machines
• Maintain hardware and software
• Program robots
• The employee must be fully aware of the customer and customer specific quality requirements.
• Writes specifications of PLC strategy for devices and machines
• Benchmarks PLC equipment and systems

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German and/or Hungarian language skills will be an advantage
• Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/ outside the company and to interact with team to reach team goals and business objectives
• Ability to empower others to achieve results through motivation, recognition and performance feedback
• Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people & to lead negotiations
• Ability to recognize, respond to customer expectations with sense of urgency and even increase expectations
• Ability to take actions, decisions & to generate ideas, products, processes in promised timely manner; involvement in designs or other work requiring creative imagination
• Ability to take full responsibility for decisions & results even when all elements are not under individual direct control
• Ability to set goals in consistency with company objectives and to adapt plans to changing environment
• Ability to identify and eliminate health, safety, ergonomic and environmental hazards in workplace

Education and Experience:

• Apprenticeship as electrician or degree in electronic engineering
• At least 2 years work experience as electronic engineer or
• 5 years work experience as electrician
• Special knowledge: electronic CAD, EDP, good SES skills
• Siemens S7 PLC systems programming
• Robot programming knowledge (Kuka or Fanuc is preferred)
