Chief SAP S/4HANA Credit Management Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Credit Management / FSCM Credit Management
• Own the Credit Management solution blueprint and align it with the Order-to-Cash (O2C) architecture and business processes
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to capture credit policies, risk-management needs, and market-specific requirements
• Translate business requirements into SAP functional designs, configuration decisions, and implementation inputs
• Configure and optimize Credit Management capabilities including credit segments, credit profiles, credit limits, exposure, credit-risk classes, scoring, automatic credit checks, credit-block management, release processes, Business Partner integration, and credit exposure reporting
• Define and confirm integration between Credit Management and Sales & Distribution, Finance, Business Partner, and related SAP/non-SAP systems
• Assess current processes and recommend standard S/4HANA capabilities while limiting unnecessary customization
• Drive functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and developments in close collaboration with ABAP and integration teams
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover activities, go-live, and hypercare
• Diagnose complex functional defects and integration issues and coordinate resolution across teams
• Support global template creation and manage localization needs for subsequent market rollouts
• Provide functional leadership to other SAP consultants and market teams while ensuring high-quality documentation and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Proven 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Credit Management / FSCM Credit Management
• Solid understanding of Credit Management and Order-to-Cash business processes
• Working knowledge of integration across Credit Management, SAP SD, FI, and Business Partner
• Hands-on experience designing and configuring credit checks, credit limits, credit exposure, and credit-block/release processes
• Demonstrated experience with S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or global template rollouts
• Proven ability to independently lead functional workshops and engage senior business stakeholders
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex cross-functional SAP issues
• Practical experience producing functional specifications and partnering with ABAP, integration, and architecture teams
• End-to-end implementation lifecycle experience including Design, Build, SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live and Hypercare
• Strong English communication skills (C1 Advanced) with effective stakeholder management

• Experience leading multi-country or global SAP rollouts
• Background in retail or large international enterprise settings
• Experience with complex integrations between S/4HANA Credit Management and external credit, finance, or risk-management solutions
• Experience establishing reusable global templates while managing market-specific requirements
• Previous experience acting as a Lead Consultant / Functional Lead / Credit Management SME
