Lead SAP S/4HANA Credit Management Consultant

We are looking for a Lead SAP S/4HANA Credit Management Consultant to lead the functional design, implementation and rollout of Credit Management capabilities within a global SAP S/4HANA landscape. The consultant will act as the functional lead and primary SME for SAP Credit Management, working closely with business stakeholders, SAP architects, development and integration teams, and market representatives. The role covers the full delivery lifecycle—from requirements and solution design through configuration, integration, testing, deployment and hypercare.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Credit Management / FSCM Credit Management
• Own Credit Management solution design and ensure alignment with the overall Order-to-Cash (O2C) architecture and business processes
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to understand credit policies, risk-management requirements and market-specific needs
• Translate business requirements into SAP functional designs, configuration and implementation requirements
• Configure and optimize key Credit Management capabilities, including credit segments, credit profiles, credit limits, exposure, credit-risk classes, scoring, automatic credit checks, credit-block management, release processes, Business Partner integration and credit exposure reporting
• Define and validate integration between Credit Management and Sales & Distribution, Finance, Business Partner and related SAP/non-SAP systems
• Analyze existing processes and recommend standard S/4HANA capabilities while minimizing unnecessary customization
• Lead functional specifications for required enhancements, interfaces and developments and work closely with ABAP/integration teams
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare
• Analyze complex functional defects and integration issues and coordinate their resolution across teams
• Support the creation of a global template and manage localization requirements for subsequent market rollouts
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to other SAP consultants and market teams, and ensure high-quality solution documentation and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Credit Management / FSCM Credit Management
• Understanding of Credit Management and Order-to-Cash business processes
• Knowledge of integration between Credit Management, SAP SD, FI and Business Partner
• Experience designing and configuring credit checks, credit limits, credit exposure and credit-block/release processes
• Experience with S/4HANA implementations, migrations or global template rollouts
• Capability to independently lead functional workshops and communicate with senior business stakeholders
• Skills in analytical and troubleshooting work, including complex cross-functional SAP issues
• Experience preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP, integration and architecture teams
• Experience across the full implementation lifecycle: Design, Build, SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live and Hypercare
• Strong English communication and stakeholder-management skills

• Experience leading multi-country/global SAP rollouts
• Background in retail or large international enterprise environments
• Experience with complex integrations between S/4HANA Credit Management and external credit, finance or risk-management solutions
• Experience establishing reusable global templates while managing market-specific requirements
• Previous experience acting as a Lead Consultant / Functional Lead / Credit Management SME
