Model-based software engineer for MEMS sensors

The Mobility Electronics (ME) division of Bosch covers a wide portfolio of micro-mechanical sensors (MEMS) which are essential to modern life - from applications in automotive safety and navigation to consumer devices like smartphones and hearables up to control systems in spacecrafts. Our work is embedded in a highly dynamic, international setting involving close collaboration with in-house R&D and interfacing to world-renowned customers from the automotive industry.

Your tasks

• You create Simulink based models describing the entire signal chain of a MEMS sensor.
• You implement and develop algorithms for testing and verifying model performance.
• You actively collaborate with internal customers and collect new requirements from them.
• You compile the verified models into performant low-level code.
• You are in close contact with internal stakeholders and colleagues from the international development teams.

What distinguishes you

• Education: mechatronics engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics or similar disciplines
• Experience in MATLAB and Simulink is required
• Experience in digital signal processing and system theory is required
• Experience in OOP programming is required
• Problem-solving: you like to deal with complex problems but keep your focus on finding and implementing solutions
• Growth mindset and collaborative spirit

• Knowledge in micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) is an advantage
• Experience with embedded software development is an advantage
• Experience with measurement technology is an advantage
