Senior IT Team Leader (Development Platforms)

My responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation and continuous learning.
• Drive the professional growth, coaching and career development of engineers and tech leads.
• Build and maintain an inclusive, collaborative and performance-oriented engineering culture.
• Manage employee performance through regular feedback, performance reviews and development planning.
• Participate in recruitment, talent acquisition and onboarding activities to continuously strengthen the engineering organization.
• Own the successful delivery of software, platform or automation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Manage capacity planning, workload prioritization and resource allocation across engineering teams.
• Establish and monitor key engineering metrics, KPIs and SLAs to ensure sustainable delivery performance.
• Oversee incident management and resolution of critical situations through effective stakeholder communication and technical leadership.
• Support technology modernization initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies to create business value.
• Partner with architects, product owners and business stakeholders to align technology roadmaps with company objectives.
• Champion Agile ways of working across teams, leveraging Scrum, Kanban and DevOps practices.

The knowledge I own

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Application Development, Platform Engineering, AI Development, DevOps or Agile Delivery environments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Proven track record of delivering complex technology initiatives in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
• Experience working with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies and modern engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or Automation.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
