Team Lead / Senior Team Lead - IT Security (GRC)

People & Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a local team of 15–20 IT Security professionals, spanning IT Security Consulting and IT Security Management disciplines.
• Share people management responsibilities with your international counterparts in a hybrid leadership setup, ensuring consistent standards, priorities, and ways of working.
• Coach, mentor, and support the professional growth of team members, conducting regular feedback and development conversations.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and capability building to keep the team fit for current and future security challenges.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

Operational & Subject Matter Oversight

• Oversee IT Security Consulting activities, ensuring the team acts as a trusted advisor across systems, processes, and projects.
• Oversee IT Security Management activities, ensuring Security Assessments are delivered on time and Security Awareness programmes are continuously developed for the local organisation while supporting global initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between GRC workstreams so IT Security Management teams reinforce each other.
• Represent your team in governance forums, communicating compliance status, risks, exercise outcomes, and improvement measures.
• Support your team in complex escalations, risk acceptance decisions, and stakeholder negotiations.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate closely with national and international teams, security peers, and Business Continuity/governance functions across multiple countries.
• Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of security-related processes.
• Stay connected to the broader security community, scouting relevant technologies, standards, and practices.

The knowledge I own

• Solid background in IT security governance, risk and compliance (GRC), security assessments or security awareness in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing a team, or clear readiness to take on team leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to represent security topics towards stakeholders and governance forums.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international setup.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
