A Snapshot of Your Day Join our dynamic Combustion Procurement team in Budapest as an Operational Buyer, where you will play a vital role in ensuring business continuity during a 24-month maternity leave absence. Imagine being at the heart of our supply chain, managing purchase orders, and actively monitoring supplier performance to guarantee the timely availability of combustion components. You will engage with global stakeholders, leveraging your expertise in SAP to execute tactical procurement and support our manufacturing sites in Berlin, Charlotte, and Budapest. Your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency and align with our global commodity strategies, making this an exciting opportunity for growth and innovation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will create, update, and monitor purchase orders in SAP, ensuring the timely delivery of combustion components.
• You will follow up on order executions, tracking progress and ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to support transportation and customs compliance, enhancing our supply chain resilience.
• You will select suppliers based on established guidelines and lead contract management functions, including negotiations and claim management.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and align activities with global and local commodity management teams.

What You Bring

• A university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in operational procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP, specifically the ‘Buy’ module, and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluency in English and Hungarian, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with international stakeholders. German is a plus.
