Data & AI Analyst – Service Quality

A Snapshot of Your Day Join our global and diverse Gas Services (GS) organization, where quality data—non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions, customer feedback, and audit findings—reveals the true state of our service business. Much of this insight is currently hidden in systems, spreadsheets, and unstructured data.

As a Data & AI Analyst – Service Quality, your role is to bring this data to the surface, transforming it into actionable insights and informed decisions. You will work with quality data from our global service business, connecting, structuring, and analyzing it—including large volumes of unstructured text—and translating your findings into clear conclusions and concrete recommendations for our regions, central functions, and management. Additionally, you will build tools that automate and streamline this process, such as dashboards, small applications, and AI agents that provide our quality community with answers instead of raw data. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who possesses a strong foundation in data and AI, is curious about the business behind the numbers, and is motivated to see their analysis lead to real improvements in customer service.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyze global service quality data—non-conformance costs (NCC), CAPA, customer satisfaction, NPS, and audit findings—to identify patterns, root cause clusters, recurring issues, and emerging risks.
• Transform your analysis into clear conclusions and prioritized recommendations for regions, central functions, and management, ensuring data is interpreted effectively.
• Work with unstructured data, such as non-conformance descriptions and customer comments, applying AI and text analytics to make this valuable source usable.
• Build and maintain data models, queries, and pipelines on our enterprise data platforms, ensuring quality data from various source systems is connected and reliable.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) that provide transparency on performance and improvement progress for our quality community and Regional Service Units.
• Create AI agents, chatbots, and lightweight applications that make quality knowledge and data directly accessible to stakeholders in their daily work.
• Support our global AI agenda for Service Quality by piloting new use cases, assessing their value, and scaling successful initiatives across regions.
• Partner with quality experts, process owners, and regions to understand their questions, challenge assumptions with data, and ensure analytics is utilized where it can create the most impact.

What You Bring

• You hold a university degree in data science, computer science, engineering, business informatics, statistics, or a comparable field, along with some professional experience, an internship, or a working-student role in a data or analytics environment.
• You possess solid programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL) and hands-on experience with relational and cloud databases such as Snowflake or Oracle.
• You have practical experience in data analysis and handling unstructured data, including text analytics and NLP, with a clear understanding of current AI tools and their capabilities.
• You are experienced in building dashboards and visualizations with Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with low-code application development (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate) is a strong plus.
• Relevant certifications in data, analytics, cloud, or AI (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Snowflake) are welcome and valued.
• You have a genuine interest in the business behind the data, with some exposure to an industrial, service, quality, or operations environment, and the ambition to understand our processes beyond just the datasets.
• You can translate complex analyses into simple, convincing messages and present findings confidently to non-technical and senior audiences.
• You have a curious, self-driven, and pragmatic approach to work, with the confidence to experiment, learn quickly, and share insights with the team.
• You are fluent in English and open to working in a truly international, multicultural team.
