How You’ll Make an Impact

40% SCADA Technical Leadership & Engineering

Lead the technical design, specification, and implementation of SCADA and control systems for energy projects, particularly in the offshore wind domain. Provide expert-level technical guidance and third-level support for troubleshooting complex issues in operational SCADA systems. Define and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and technical documentation for SCADA solutions. Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance on engineering deliverables from team members and vendors.

40% Technical Project Management

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, providing regular status reports and managing expectations. Manage the entire lifecycle of technical SCADA projects, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including technical, schedule, and budget risks.

20% Team Mentorship & Process Improvement

Coach and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, reviewing their work and fostering their professional development. Drive the continuous improvement of project management and engineering processes within the Network, SCADA & Cyber team. Contribute to procurement activities, including the technical evaluation of vendor proposals and solutions.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in SCADA/I&C systems engineering and technical project management. Demonstrated experience in the energy sector, ideally in offshore wind or substation automation projects
