Manual Software Tester

My responsibilities:

• Main responsibility is manual testing (regression testing, bug retest, explorative testing)
• Planning and implementation of quality assurance measures and software tests for our global IT systems
• Development and implementation of test cases and scenarios (functional and integration tests)
• Preparation of test documentation and evaluation of test results
• Supporting test phases
• Analysis, classification of encountered issues
• Cooperation with our international IT departments and external partners

The knowledge I own:

• Studies or training with a focus on information technology
• 1-3 years of professional experience in software testing and/or practical experience in the field of IT operation (Windows Server 2016, MS Hypervisor)
• Basic network and Linux knowledge is an advantage
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an advantage
• Test automation (e.g. Python, PyCharm, Selenium) is an advantage
• Good knowledge of various test methods and IT procedure models
• Knowledge of software and system architectures as well as in the creation of database queries (MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
• Very good knowledge of English
• Knowledge of German is an advantage
