Senior Enterprise Architect - AI & Business Transformation

Business Transformation & Architecture (BT&A) MEE is SAP's central advisory unit guiding RISE with SAP customers through their most consequential transformation journeys — from enterprise architecture strategy to hands-on solution adoption and measurable value realization. You will bring together the disciplines of Enterprise Architecture and Business AI Advisory — helping our customers not just modernize their IT landscapes, but genuinely reimagine how their businesses operate in an AI-first world.

What you will do:

• Guide customers through their end-to-end enterprise and cloud transformation journey — from architecture vision to execution — acting as their trusted primary advisor on both SAP enterprise architecture and Business AI topics, engaging directly with CIO and CxO stakeholders
• Design and govern SAP Business AI architectures and enterprise-wide solution landscapes, grounded in SAP's Reference Architecture Framework, Clean Core principles, and the full SAP BTP stack — including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and the SAP GenAI Hub
• Develop AI strategies and roadmaps, run ideation workshops and AI hackathons, and translate complex transformation initiatives into enterprise-level success plans with measurable business outcomes
• Identify, mitigate, and govern architectural and technical risks across hybrid and cloud landscapes; drive solution adoption, capability consumption, and BTP acceleration
• Design AI-powered systems that automate complex business processes and optimize engineering workflows; provide hands-on guidance on Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI patterns in SAP enterprise environments
• Collaborate across product management, go-to-market, and consulting teams; champion knowledge sharing and community building to accelerate SAP Business AI adoption across the MEE region

What you bring:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise or IT architecture, with a proven track record of end-to-end architectural ownership in complex hybrid and cloud landscapes — combined with several years of hands-on experience in an AI-focused role
• Deep knowledge of SAP's solution portfolio and the SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework across business, application, integration, data, and technology architecture — together with solid expertise in AI architectures including Generative AI and Agentic AI
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) — spanning application development, automation, integration, data & analytics, and AI (SAP Business AI, GenAI Hub) — as well as SAP S/4HANA landscapes
• Proficiency in Clean Core principles, integration and extensibility best practices, and the SAP architecture toolchain (SAP LeanIX, SAP Signavio, SAP Cloud ALM)
• Proven ability to design and implement AI-powered systems, automate complex workflows using AI agents, and translate AI strategies into working solutions with measurable business impact
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English — paired with strategic thinking, business acumen, and a genuine passion for continuous learning

German language skills are a strong advantage.
