Group Senior Sales Expert

Are you an experienced sales professional who enjoys building new business opportunities, developing customer relationships and turning market insights into commercial results?

Join MOL Group Chemicals as a Group Senior Sales Expert. In this position, you will drive market expansion, customer acquisition, development of new market opportunities with strong focus on building long-term partnerships and contributing directly to the successful commercialization of MOL Group Chemicals' 2027 production capacity growth project.

As part of an international team, you will collaborate with colleagues and customers across multiple markets, helping to accelerate global business growth and strengthen MOL Group Chemicals' position in key strategic regions.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Drive new customer acquisition and business development, identifying and targeting new customers, markets and application opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers and business partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contribute to the development and execution of customer agreements.
• Monitor sales performance, including volumes, margins, contract execution and receivables.
• Participate in business planning, strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare sales plans, forecasts, business cases and commercial analyses to support business decisions.
• Actively contribute to portfolio and pricing optimization to maximize profitability.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (production, logistics, quality control, supply chain, margin management, sales support …) to ensure effective execution.
• Support the resolution of commercial and operational issues, including customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Monitor end-to-end product performance across the value chain, from production and logistics to sales, profitability and forecast accuracy.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry conferences and trade fairs, both domestically and internationally.

What we are looking for:

• University or college degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in sales, business development or a related commercial field.
• Strong sales hunting and customer acquisition mindset with the motivation to develop new business opportunities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer meetings, conferences and trade fairs.
• Confident negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven business decisions.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-driven and results-oriented approach.
• Resilience and persistence in developing new customer relationships and markets.
• Advanced English and Hungarian language skills.
• Confident use of MS Office; experience with Power BI and Salesforce is an advantage.
