Senior Data Scientist (2-year fixed-term)

In this 2-year fixed-term position, you will have the following responsibilities:

• By designing, developing, and evaluating machine learning models and algorithms, you transform data into scalable, high‑impact solutions that strengthen data‑driven decision‑making, improve operational efficiency, and support the company’s long‑term innovation and competitive advantage.
• Working closely with data science peers and cross‑functional stakeholders, business needs are translated into actionable AI solutions aligned with strategic objectives—ensuring that data‑science investments deliver measurable value and directly support organizational priorities.
• Drawing on strong statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data analysis skills, you build reliable, explainable models that foster trust in AI‑driven outcomes and enable the company to scale its analytics capabilities responsibly and confidently.
• Active participation in generative AI initiatives allows you to work with LLMs, knowledge graphs, traditional NLP approaches, and custom models to deliver innovative, forward‑looking solutions.
• By staying up to date with the latest research and developments in data science and generative AI, new ideas and techniques naturally flow into your work, enhancing processes, improving solution quality, and keeping the organization at the forefront of innovation.
• In close collaboration with MLOps engineers, data engineers, product management, and IT, you help integrate AI‑based solutions into products and processes so they remain scalable, reliable, and ready for real‑world impact.
• Through mentoring junior and medior colleagues and taking part in organization‑wide knowledge‑sharing sessions, you strengthen a collaborative learning culture and help elevate the overall capability and maturity of the data science community.

You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have/are:

• BSc or MSc of IT, Economics, Technology, Natural or Social Sciences.
• Advanced with data science tools (e.g. Python, SQL, MLflow, Spark).
• At least 4-5 years of experience in a data science or machine learning engineer role.
• Thorough understanding of statistics, machine learning, data modelling, deep learning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient level of English.
• Experience in marketing is a plus.
• Experience with Cloudera and H2O Spark is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS, Sagemaker, Bedrock or other cloud related solutions for data science is a plus.
